Want to learn a simple tip for taking better photos outdoors? When we can't be there to take your portrait for you, here's a little tip on how to improve your own outdoors photography.

Maybe you want to take a photo of your kid, your friend, your partner, whoever the subject is you need to create or find 'soft light'.

Us pro photographers usually come with a host of items to help us create this effect if it's not readily available but this tip will really help you improve your outdoor portraits.

1. Find a shady spot and put your subject in that shade. That can be a tree, an overhang of a building or whatever you can find, natural shade creates naturally beautiful soft light.

Not only will the photos be pretty and cut down on the shadows on the face, it also helps with the eye squinting and a host of other problems.

So, what are you waiting for? Get your camera and go outdoors and take a photo or two!
